Last week, the day after the US presidential election, I wrote a post about my ambivalence towards this Gratitude Challenge. "Amidst all this doom and gloom, gratitude feels frivolous, misplaced, inappropriate even." I seriously considered calling it all off.
But science tells us that we are capable of holding both grief and gratitude in our hearts, both indignation and wonder, and if anything, now is the time to hold a torch for all that is good and right in the world.
And so my friends, I would love to have you join me for a week of cozy togetherness and grateful savouring this Thanksgiving.
